man i am being way too optimistic! but everything seems to be working out right now, it's pretty crazy. i get to stay here this summer and do many things: 2 jobs, class, and research. i think i keep finding more things to do so that i won't feel lonely when everyone goes home. but maybe there will be friends to make, maybe robbie's housemates will be interesting, maybe the people i work with will be interesting, maybe the people (person? there's only 8 people in my greek class right now which begs the question, how many people could there possibly be in the summer??) in my class will be interesting. i hope this summer is fun, i have big plans and goals, it will be interesting to see if i actually achieve them. i've given thought to a sort of statistical analysis of goal achievement by creating a tentative weekly point system that might motivate me somewhat. if i have a numerical benchmark by which achievement is measured perhaps it will be more disappointing to not meet goals? yes that is the idea behind it, it's really nerdy, but it will hopefully work. that's all i gotta go to class.
