I haven't taken a vacation - no work on my mind at all - for longer than 1 week since September 2005.. when I started at Nielsen.
I got transferred into TCS earlier this year and they paid me out my vacation. Not that I would have been able to take it anyway, I was too busy with all the transition work.
Now I'm back to having no vacation saved up and 2 weeks per year, with less sick days available to boot.
Such bullshit. I don't know why anyone thinks this is good or productive for our workers to HAVE to work constantly in order just to survive.
I want to go back to college. Not because I want to learn new things and advance, but so that I can have actual breaks!
