[This blue hedgehog is out and about as usual, still out to make sure everyone after the event is okay. But he didn't expect to see her! He's going to approach now, that crossbow is not threatening at all, it is not.]

Amy! Hey, are you all right?

[Not threatening? Really? Not even when she's aiming it right between your eyes?]

Sonic?

[Threatening? Not in the least, not when he could outrun any arrow, not when he's pretty sure she's not going to shoot him either. And if he did happen to get hurt or even possibly die from getting shot, he could come back to life. Like last time. Sonic looked concerned but still smiled, moving out of the line of fire by a step, knowing something about her was really off.]

Yeah, it's me. Calm down, all right? C'mon, we'll get you to the clinic or somethin', you're really, heh, not in the best shape.

[Amy corrected her aim, if it was really Sonic he could dodge, and if it wasn't she needed to be ready.]

That's what you said the last time I thought I was back. But it -

[Sonic's ears twitched slightly. He didn't understand what she had meant, but it was all most likely due to her kidnapping. He couldn't just let her stand there while she was hurt, but he thought using any healing magic right now would scare her. Not that he couldn't catch her either or avoid a flying arrow to the face (XD), but let's not let anyone get any more hurt. His gaze moved past the crossbow aimed at him to look her straight in the eyes.]

Man, Amy, what does a guy hafta do to? Tell you to leave me alone? Tell you how much trouble you are? C'mon, it's me! Heh, it's Bright Eyes, remember? I remembered that, y'know.

And trust me, you'll remember a lot better if we get you to the clinic. C'mon, this'll be the first time that I'll, jeez, let you follow me around!

[As if Amy could run! She can barely walk right now. She does, however, shoot Sonic an amused grin.]

[And just as it seems Sonic might have reached her, he loses her again]

[Amy's aim drops a fraction as she tries to think.]

[Wow, okay, that was a weird transition right there. But this hedgehog is not going to give up! Sonic pulled his wings a bit tight behind him as he thought back. Details, details. What did she--his wings flared back out when he remembered--Oh, right.]

Sheesh, you just want me to say it!

Heh, you were pretty stoked that all the stuff was free and it was like Christmas! And... [Insert annoyed groan here.] ... Yeah, yeah, you gave me a hug. Ha, it's not an invitation for you to do it again, got it?

[Amy sighs in relief dropping her aim completely, as she leans all her weight against the wall.]

It really is you.

I guess they knew I didn't have another fight left in me...

Yeah yeah you passed. But don't think I'm never getting another hug out of you Sonic, I'll find a way.

[He was relieved too, if just temporarily since she remembered him. But it was still strange all around.]

'Course it's me, true and blue. I wouldn't lie to you, you know that!

[He knew he was going to regret this. It wouldn't be the first time he had done it, but still. His darn conscience was overriding his blue hedgehog logic and rationale.]

... You're not walkin' anywhere like that. C'mon, I'll... carry you.

I know you wouldn't Bright Eyes...but they...I remember having to...[Amy shakes her head]

It doesn't matter now.

Hey I can walk just fine, maybe, well I can hobble at least.

[But Amy doesn't even try to move, the adrenalin was the only thing keeping her moving, but now she knows she safe, she's crashing, and that wall is actually starting to feel pretty comfortable...]

Hey, you can tell me 'bout it later when you're better! Don't worry 'bout it now.

[What? She refused? He didn't know if he should be thrilled or surprised. He compromised instead.]

Take it easy, Amy. Here, just hang on a sec. [Now seemed like a good time to use filial healing magic on her, at least so she wouldn't crash right here and that there would be less pain on her leg. He lifted his hand and started healing her now.]

[If she remembers later, Amy is one confused little Hedgehog right now.]

[And...Well she thought he would insist, should have known better really. But hey, less pain that almost as good! She just sighs as her leg starts to heal.]

Okay maybe the leg was worse than I thought it was...

[Don't forget, Amy, he's curious! Or intrigued.]

Heh, ya think? You can't even stand on it.

[But his patience (what patience?) was wearing thin. He could heal, sure, but she needed to get more help than he could provide right now; she was in bad shape. He shook his head and quickly moved to pick her up instead to carry her now.]

Just watch that crossbow. You wouldn't wanna ruin a once in a lifetime moment, would you?

[Well, she'll try.]

I was walking on it earlier...[Of course that's probably WHY she can't stand on it now.]

[Amy was used to suddenly being grabbed by Sonic for a quick escape and automatically pointed her crossbow away from them as she was picked up. But she was surprised (And Delighted!) to find herself in Sonic's arms instead of just hanging on as the blue speedster ran instead.]

Aww you do care.

[Amy pulled the arrow bolt out of the crossbow, mostly so Sonic wouldn't see her fighting a blush at that moment, and slipped it into the pouch on her belt. Before wrapping her arm around Sonic's shoulders.]

If it's a once in a lifetime moment I'd better make the most of it huh?

[And Amy then rests her head against Sonic as much to be as annoyingly romantic as possible, as because she was tired.]

[He's going to ask her about it again some time if she is willing to answer or remember. XD]

You know better than to do that! Heh, but I think I get it, this was your plan all along! I shoulda known!

Man, you really know how to grate on this hedgehog's nerves, heh.

[But he conceded and didn't want to fight, even if she was taking advantage of the opportunity (which is smart of her since when is this ever going to happen again voluntarily? XD). After rolling his eyes and sidestepping the statement about caring, he held onto her a little tighter now and dashed off toward the clinic.

[She won't mind, and she'll share most of what she does remember. And Sonic just made her laugh]

Drat. You're to smart for me Handsome.

[Amy shivered, it was December after all, but despite the windchill from running, Sonic was warm. And even though it only took a moment, if that, to get to the clinic Amy didn't look all that awake once they got there.]
