What lightness of heart!
Big week, with a grad school fair, and a career fair, and a majors' meeting with special presentations by the Office of International Programs. I did some number crunching on my graduation requirements, and as long as my estimates aren't way off... it's cheaper and more expedient for me to go to Paris than not. HOW COOL IS THAT?
Well, that's not including the money for visas, and airfare, and the inevitable shopping, but still.
And I think it'll turn into a petit Grand Tour, with a trip through England beforehand and Greece after. I love being friends with people who know people! (We aren't telling my parents this part yet).
Yeah, like I can justify Greece.
Well, we would have a contact at the Acropolis museum. It's sort of the architectural Mecca of the Enlightenment.
Also the Converse trainers came in the mail today, and I'm wearing them now. C'EST BON.
... If this doesn't work out, I will probably become irreconcilably cynical and bitter. I don't think I can face that kind of disappointment again.
