And I love that in the end Ray inserts himself and his things into Fraser's life:)

I really liked the slow, careful movements of Fraser's healing, very measured and deliberate.
And I loved the sex, and Fraser's slow realization that he needs this.
This:
"Don't get me wrong-I like what you do for me. I like it a lot. But this one-sided thing, this thing where you get to make me feel good but you won't let yourself take anything from me-it makes me feel like a user. It makes me feel like a crappy lover. It makes me think-" Ray stopped and his eyes dropped, the corners turned down. "You don't need me back-for anything."
Oh. I need more tissues.
Beautiful.

I adore this story beyond the telling. You made the sexual-healing theme absolutely realistic and believable--and not quick or trite or easy. My heart broke for both of them.
I fell in love (not to mention in lust) with Ray ALL OVER AGAIN...and even more in the epilogue, with the gentle "invasions" and the amazingly generous and loving insistence that Fraser call Vecchio--even though he'd gone to Florida with Stella! OMG...this Ray's an angel--who needs wings ( ... )

I do love a gentle, but still pushy, Ray. I think of Ray as he must have been early in his marriage with Stella--he must have been an incredible husband, because he is just One Big Heart.
I hope your headache is better. Thank you for this wonderful note, which made me grin crazily and give an inward squee.

I'm also very glad you showed how much rape stays with a person. It's not about just moving on and being with the next person. It takes time and patience to work throught that sense of violation. Well done.
