You've already died once and someone will kill you again for doing whatever caused your death in the first place?

And you should know that whatever safeguard that was supposed to be on your writing isn't doing its job, at all.

It isn't impossible. Either that or a very long string of cursing about how insensitive I am, again. She's an odd one and I'm glad she's not here.

And I see it did fail. Great, just what I needed.

She's probably just worried about you, then - I've noticed that that's one of the ways some people express it.

I doubt it's the end of the world, but that seemed like something you might want to know.

Honestly, I doubt it. I lied to her by not telling her something when I could have and instead let her look like a fool when she found out the truth.

Not that she'd have believed me if I said the truth then, so either way I really was just doomed to be whatever insult she comes up for me when I go back.

It probably isn't, even the one person from my world probably wouldn't understand exactly what I'm referring to.

I see, then I don't think I'd blame her for whatever she chose to do to you. Being lied to and having someone set you up to look like a fool is usually not a person's favorite activity.

It might not be, but it's something you can probably still change, if you'd like to.

It's just one of those drawbacks of holding a position that requires you to be someone who no longer lives.

Had I told the truth, she would have called me a liar and looked even worse in the end. At least she can put the blame on me instead.

[Well that's an odd thing to say mister can't-lock-properly.] That requires what?

Hmm, you may have a point... or you may not. That sounds like something I'd need to know the full situation of to tell.

[He's a weird guy, just be glad you are psychic Quistis, you'd learn some amusing things if this were an action tag instead.] Strange things of my world is probably the best explanation. Well, the one that doesn't require knowing a lot about my world that is.

[And she actually doesn't argue with that definition - her world is somewhat like that, after all, with the Sorceress.] Are those strange things anything that could affect Luceti?

At this time none of it should. But this place is strange too so who can say if that will always remain true?

True. I don't suppose any of us can predict what will happen to us here.

Precognition is definitely not among my skills.

Nor mine. Sometimes I wish it was, but most of the time I'm glad it's not.

I think we all wish it was at times. But I think that knowing something bad would happen might not be for the best. Who knows how you could change things by doing that? Or the same thing could well happen in a different way anyhow.

Exactly. There's so many problems that can be associated with that sort of ability - I don't think I'd be able to stay sane.

What I have now is enough for me. Some brains and logic works fine to figure out what may happen. We don't need more than that.
