I DO believe in fairies!!!
So I went to see the matinee performance of Peter Pan. Well, toward the end of the movie, Tinkerbell drinks poison and dies. Peter, of course, has to revive her. So the very androgynous and flamboyant Peter Pan starts chanting:
"I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES, I DO, I DO!!!"
"I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES, I DO, I DO!!!"
"I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES, I DO, I DO!!!"
And pretty soon the whole cast starts chanting this hysterical phrase over and over.
Well of course I start busting up laughing in the middle of the movie theater, and all of these straight-laced parents are looking at me like: "What the fuck is his problem?"
And I'm thinking, I READ WAY TOO MUCH SLASH!!!
I just had to share that.
