Ground Floor Openings
Good news! More of the airport has just become available for characters to discover.
A new set of escalators in the baggage claim area have appeared, leading to the first (ground) floor of the airport. All of the elevators in the terminal are now functional, but can only be taken to the ground floor. The emergency stairs can also be accessed to get to the ground floor. This floor contains the check-in desks, lounges, more vending machines, as well as a small cafe and seating area. The doors leading to the outside are, however, still closed and locked (and bullet/laser/bombproof).
The first floor also contains access to the Atrium. This is a large enclosed courtyard in the center of the airport, viewable from the second floor. It contains plants and trees that have been allowed to grow wild, as well as an inexplicably functional fountain and a seating area.
These facilities have been added to the Airport Facilities list.
In addition to the airport's ground floor, the hotel ground floor is now also accessible by stairs and elevators in the hotel. It is not accessible through the first floor of the airport, however. This floor contains an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, a sauna room, a spa, and a fully-equipped gym. More information about the hotel gym/pool area can be found here.
