What was going on?
Phoenix had no idea where the hell he was. Last thing he knew, he had been in the bathroom of the Gatewater Hotel... he, Maya, and Pearls had gone there to see the Hero of Heroes Grand Prix show with Will Powers. And then... the show had been stopped, and someone had been murdered, and Maya had been kidnapped--
And he'd been told that if he didn't get the suspect a Not Guilty sentence, Maya would be the next to go.
Phoenix had taken a quick break from looking for clues and gone into the bathroom to splash water on his face and calm down. After that, he didn't remember anything.
...Had he passed out?
Well, it certainly wouldn't be the first time.
When he had woken up, he was in an entirely different bathroom -- he was almost sure everything was in different places. The warm, plush feeling of the gaudy hotel had changed into a sort of cold, stark, clean environment. How weird...
Well, he didn't really have a lot of time to worry about any of this. He had to get back to gathering evidence and testimonies and helping Maya--
And when he'd stepped out of the bathroom, he was... in an airport terminal.
He stood there for a long moment before slumping against the wall.
