(Please note: If you simply wish to comment on something I've said but don't want to participate in the meme, that is fine. I will only give you five words if you specifically comment you with 'Words!')
Canada: Canuckleland. I've lived in Canada all my life and I can't imagine living anywhere else. "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home." At least, that's how I think it goes. Canada may not be the most powerful of countries, and there's not a heck of a lot that makes us great, but it's home. We may not be as loud or boisterous about it as our southern neighbours, but we are fiercely patriotic in our own quiet way.
ReBoot: A few years ago now, I adopted AndrAIa over at
milliways_bar, and I haven't looked back since. ReBoot is an awesome, Canadian-made children's cartoon from the 1990's, and one of the first CGI-animated shows to air on television. It was taken off-air in 2001 (much to the dismay of fans), after a large, season end cliffhanger. Recently there has been attempts at a revival, but it's just not the same, I think, and the people trying to pick up the show-turned-comic could have done so much better.
Numbers: I usually associate with math, which I don't get along with at all. Math and I have an understanding, y'see: I don't try to do fancy things with it, and it doesn't screw with me too much. My other Milliways pup also goes by a numbered nickname (Thirteen), and much to my chagrin, has been accused of being not human a few times upon introduction.
Friends: Friends are awesome. I'm still close the friends I made in middle school, and, while my group of friends grew slightly in high school, we've pretty much stuck together since. We were pretty separate from all the dramas and such that comes with high school life, you know, best friends suddenly hating each other because of some guy, or some other nonsense of the like. I believe you should hold onto your friends and cherish them, if you care for them, because they are essentially the family you get to choose.
Kids:I adore them, absolutely adore them. I don't really have a big family, and not much in the way of extended family, either. My dad has two brothers and sisters, only one of which is married, but they don't have any kids. It's my mom's only brother that ended up having a kid, and quite honestly, I can count the number of times I've seem my cousin on one hand. I've known one of my co-workers since I was about five years old, and he has a three year old daughter that I absolutely adore and have adopted as my own in my strange sort of way. I'm always happy to see her when he or his wife bring her by, and I find myself chatting at my Kidlet, or listening to whatever she's been up to recently.
