After 12 years of living with a dark wood-paneled den that looks like a hunting lodge , I finally bit the bullet and began painting my paneling this weekend. I've been watching HGTV way too much. I also have a brick fireplace that will get the paint treatment; I just haven't decided what color. The walls are gray with white trim. The fireplace will be either white or Terra Cotta. not sure yet. The floor is gray/blue with veins of an orangy color through it. The Terra Cotta would be good, but I'm not sure I'm ready to go that bold yet..
