Finally finished the first book in the X-Wing series, entitled Rogue Squadron. I really liked the characters of Wedge, Tycho, Ooryl, and Corran, probably in that order. Technically, since the book is focused on Corran, he should be my fave, but I do have a thing for supporting characters. Maybe it’s because I’m curious to know more about them. ^_^
Now that I’m done with that, I plan to go through Sense and Sensibility, since I have an appalling lack of Austen in my head. I downloaded it in audiobook form from Librivox.
Morgan finally got her Temeraire books today. I wish I could have sent her the whole series, but only 5 of the 9 books have been written so far. >_<
Chris got engaged, which is earth-shattering news. Good on him.
Kurt and Marsha are back from Costa Rica. (Make sure to say that in a Jurassic Park Richard Attenborough voice.) I’ll be meeting them on Saturday to celebrate Marsha’s sister’s 60th birthday. I think I might have met her at Chandra’s wedding back in ‘07, but I’m mostly going to see Marsha, Eric, Krista, Chandra, Monica, and Kurt, who will all be there. Yays.
Lastly, Morgan is a luminous being who has made my life exciting again, and I *heart* her. :#)
