Consequences

The current generation feels it shoudl be consequence free. I don't understand it. When you are wrong, you are wrong. No amount of 'oh but they are a good person' irraticates the fact you did wrong. Own up to your mistakes, apologize, then make amends. Sure, put yourself in their shoes do you don't make their mistake. Hope they learn from some peer critisism not to make the same mistake again. Coddling the problem because the 'good person' is upset doesn't make the wrong right. If they are truly a good person, they'll learn.
