In my world, at least, the bride usually has a handful of women to attend to her on the wedding day, and stand with her during the ceremony. They usually are her sisters or close friends, but I have no sisters or very close female friends here, which is where you come in. And I understand how non-traditional I am with asking a man to fill in, but...
