Report 037 - [Accidental Video]
[The feed switches on to show Riza in a bed in Unohana's clinic. It's silent, more than it should be, based on her lack of breathing.
Riza is still dead.
But the PCD keeps filming, as if it's expecting something to happen. A few minutes pass with no change. Riza's body is still and unmoving, but then her eyes suddenly pop open, they're they're still cloudy with lingering death. She gasps and it's a rasping sound. She needs to breathe, but not all of the air is getting to her lungs. After another attempt to fill her lungs, her body fights back and coughs violently as she rolls onto her side, her left hand coming up to her mouth just in time to catch blood, clotted after sitting in her throat for a few days. She continues to clear her airway of the blockage, her hands bloody with evidence of her death.
Finally, she falls back to the pillows and gasps more cleanly for air.
Of course, she had a painful death, so her face contorts in pain and her eyes fall closed, her left hand moving again to cover her face. But when she tries to turn it so the back of her hand could rest on her forehead, she winces.
Right. Rhode had broken it.
Let's try the right hand!
When she turns that hand over, it becomes obvious that her index finger is missing, though Riza doesn't seem to have noticed yet. That is not a wound she suffered while fighting Rhode.
After a few more moments, the feed shuts off.]
