we are all sinners

continuum

it shouldn't have mattered.

"the world is ending."

"so what. let it end."

it rains coals and ashes (even the sky is too tired to cry) and they scream as if they never saw it coming. it's hypocritical. it's pathetic. and you continue resenting the world, even on its deathbed.

there's no better place to start than at the end.

the fight has gone on for too long, struggles written as valiant and brave when they merely embody cowardice and fear. everyone is right; everyone is wrong. there's always two sides of the same story and truth bends, coils, distorts to fit one's need. an ultimate reality doesn't exist; too many parallels and it's easier to get lost than to be found.

"i wish there's more time."

"there's never enough."

an ultimatum.

there's no escape.

in the end. we are all sinners. chasing everything that disappears, except the incessant materialistic hunger. fighting teeth and nails to reach beyond the sky, just to suffocate and blasphemy inked deep in our hearts.

you watch and you observe. but you never learn.

"we're going to die."

"it should've happened earlier."

end
