Hmmm I see three characters Stark, Syazel and Luppi.
However I'll go with Luppi the only thing that didn't fit was the quiet aspect (at first) but I dont view Syazel as quiet either, I can see Luppi calling him Uke-la-la, good/evil/neutral answer, I can see him laughing at people dying, self absorbed, lazy, moans a lot, humourous, witty and independent but only when it suits you
