Apache x Grimmjow Fanworks Contest - Winners
Hello, folks! Hope you've had a good week. I started a (possibly permanent) new job, so I've been busy, but I definitely haven't forgotten about the contest.
I am really surprised and thrilled by all the entries that the contest recieved! In the end, it was bigger than I expected for such an obscure pairing. You guys seriously have no idea how happy this makes me. I feel horrible having to choose one winner for each category. If I had the money, I would get everyone who participated a prize, and I'm not even joking. But unfortunately, I do have to pick. If you did not get a prize, please do not take offense, or take it as if I don't appreciate your work. I most certainly do! In fact, now that the judging is over, expect me to be going back and properly commenting, favoriting, etc!

Fan Fiction - Helping Hand by vayshti
This was the toughest category to choose by far. They were all very well written and very interesting! The reason I went with this story is that it seriously made me laugh, think seriously about the relationship, and think 'holy fuck, that's hot!' all in one story.
Fan Art - This piece by murasaki_kaida
I went to artist madgophermm5 for help with this one, because I haven't taken an art class since high school. In the end...we decided on this piece, because of the attention to detail and the well done anatomy.
Graphics - The manga banner by hpim
I had a really big fight with myself about this one, but in the end I chose this piece. I really love the violet and blue color scheme for these two, as well as the manga images (not that everyone didn't do awesome things with the anime images as well!)

Everyone else on the community - Thank you for watching, or at the very least, respectfully ignoring and not causing wank. I've seen many ridiculous pairing wank in my day, and I'm pleased to say that there was none of that here. In short, you guys all rock.
