Way too early
Argh, it's way too early to be having breakfast, but as I have to be at the hospital for my Acute knee injury clinic appointment at 8am, I'm trying to have my ritual tea and wake up session.
The doctor surprised me yesterday - he looked at my knee, and said he wasn't happy with it now the swelling's gone down, and will wait on the opinion of today's specialist - and promptly signed me off for 2 more weeks! This seems rather an about face from last week, where he hemmed and hawed and suggested I try and move it as much as I could.
Not sure how work are going to take this, but I'm keen on following my doctor's advice to the letter given I have a court case in motion, and must do everything to minimise my injury and damage.
On a plus side, I feel relatively cheery, and The Boy Wonder passed his (shooting) range test yesterday. Fingers crossed he finishes and passes out before Christmas, cos then we can have a couple of weeks together.
