Well, much as I loved
bateleur's ode to snow, I have to write that Cardiff is pretty much snow free.
We had a salt-cellar sprinkling, which froze, but to be honest walking on the way to the bus stop from the flat, I hardly noticed anything. And given that was at 6:30, I don't think that's half bad. It generally looks as though a sharp frost hit the grassy areas, and that's your lot. Caerphilly mountain, on the other hand, is a different story.....
If the weather doesn't improve, I'm generally unwilling to risk the pilgrimage to Hayes for the party this weekend,
waistcoatmark. Which is a shame, but I really don't fancy getting stuck in a National Express coach with a chemical loo.....
In other news, I have successfully been up at 6ish Monday, Tuesday and today this week, the first two to go swimming, and today to ritually abase myself in the cardio and weights room. I'd forgotten how long it can take to do a full weight training session, plus 30 mins of cardio.....
