(no subject)
Well Saturday daytime, Saturday night time, and early Sunday morning have been very productive for me. 
Had lunch with my mother in Hurstville, got some nice food p0rn shots before heading to the civic centre for the Vintage clothing show. Very lovely people there let me take photos of the fasion parade and set me up with a fantastic place to view. The lighting could have been better, so I didn't get oodles of photos there but I think I have enough. I also have one of the models' email address as she offered to be a photography model! Quite happy with that, she has an interesting style of dress, and not really goth or alternative scene style that I can see.
Headed home with an antique walking cane for when my leg gets silly and plays up on me. I should have brought it tonight as the walk after the club was quite gruelling but I do feel like a bit of a knob walking around with a cane! Lovely new earrings as well.
Band shoot ended up being cancelled due to a sick band member. We're going to reschedule for another day and skip the recording studio shoot and just go straight into an outdoor shoot. Really must email Band Michael about that.
Caught up with an LJ friend who really needed an ear and a shoulder and amused her muchly by my dressing antics.
Picked up Anna and Conrad then headed to Berserk for the InTheMix photo work.
Absolutely fantastic club as always. The crew there always put on a fantastic club, so much kudos and many thanks to them. I got quite a few shots, but did have issues with the lighting as I didn't bring a tripod, and the dance floor was too bouncy to do clear long exposure shots. I've got some fantastic photos of some of the punters.
All up I took 468 photos from today, after deleting a few totally cruddy shots. Taking ages to upload currently, but hopefully I'll be able to keep my eyes open until I can pick out some good ones and edit them.
I'm anticipating putting up some preview shots in a few hours if I don't fall asleep, or decide to catch a longer nap before hopefully going to the afternoon event today.
Got to meet lovely people who I always see at clubs, but have never talked to before. Talked business with another of you LJ people at the club, and hopefully will be able to get my Anodyne Stasis Radio website changed into a nice photo site and online portfolio in the future.
Photography-wise everything seems to be happening a bit at once. I think that I am a little afraid to let go and throw myself into it. I don't want to fail, and I don't want to be so tightly gripped in my muse's harpy like claws that I lose track of all the other important things in my life.
Anyway, a massive thanks to all that stopped to chat yesterday and in the wee hours of this morning after the club. It's great to socialise and I really appreciate the support you all have been giving me in different facets of my life.
I feel like I'm getting through the tough times and slowly pulling the skeins of everything into some sort of order.
And now, I guess I will procrastinate getting through my work hours ahead of deadline and just take time to watch the sun rise, write things down in detail and generally just gad about feeling content and happy with things just being!
