I ordered Salman Rushdie's
The Enchantress of Florence yesterday with high hopes. Because I mean, life is always better with good reading material. Has anyone else read it?
I still have tales to tell from this weekend but I forgot my camera at work and clearly the story wouldn't be complete without the photographic evidence.
In less than one week we have had two bomb scares, two power outages and two repats at work. Clearly, working on the base keeps life interesting.
I want to go to the beach. Really, really badly.
Also, Oliver comes back in a week. I am giddy with anticipation (and not THAT kind of anticipation, you wanker. Get yo' head out of the gutter)
My convocation is on the 19th and it's finally sort of slowly setting in that this is it. It's over. I'm eight days away from being an official university graduate.
Shocking, I know.
And oddly enough, after all of my terror, I feel great about it.
