Metalsfests was awesome. But there was too much hardcore/ninja moshing crap and not enough circle-pitting and wall-of-deathing. Sadly, we couldn't stay for Dimmu Borgir which was such a BUMMER. And I got clawed on my shoulderblade and it looks kind of awesome; in that "it-really-hurts-to-put-on-and-take-of-shirts" way.
Being there was just the best feeling in the world. I had butterflies in my stomach constantly; I felt alive.
Too bad I'm missing Cannibal Corpse, Unearth, Job for a Cowboy and The Red Chord today (Al Pal, we'll go to Sounds of the Underground over the summer, kay?)
Oh yeah, I saw:

Katakalysm (for like 2 minutes)

Behemoth (MADNESS)
And I think I saw a member of Cannibal Corpse, since they're pretty recognizable, and I met the bassist and drummer of Dark Throne or something.
