I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite people ever.
WHO I MET.
John Green. (Hank Green is cool too).
We first were introduced to John through a video his brother Hank made back... last summer? No, the summer before that?! SRYS? About Book 7 that got featured on YouTube.
Because John and Hank had created a video project called Brotherhood 2.0 where, for an entire year they traded off making a vlog every week day and had to follow an array of rules including no videos over 4 minutes (except montages), no textual communication like IMing or e-mailing each other, etc. and when one of them broke one of these rules, the other got to choose a punishment (with input from viewers). Like many people, after seeing Hank's video, we subscribed and started following their videos every day. One of their most famous punishments was directed at John. Who had to eat a Happy Meal. Blenderized. And wax his chin, which turned out to be a very unwise choice, so that had to be substituted with other waxing.
Eventually we started reading JOHN GREEN'S BOOKS which are for young adults but they're hilarious and deep and some of the best like, recent fiction I've read. For sure. He has three and 1/3 books out and is working on another half of a book with this other guy XD
MY FAVORITE IS PAPER TOWNS. RACHELLE'S FAVORITE IS ALASKA. PATTA'S FAVORITE IS MAYBE KATHERINES HE DOESN'T KNOW. THIS PROBABLY SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT ALL OF US. They're all good, though. I've always said that if the chat were to write books, they would be like John's.
