So. Today, I finished reading PAPER TOWNS. Which is supposed to come out the 16th. But someone at B&N made a mistake and I GOT MINE EARLY.
I got the buh-lue cover.
I had no preference and I'm glad I preordered so I didn't have to choose, but I think now I do like the blue better, but that might just be because I have it.
I won't spoil anything. I will say that the book is very John Green, his kind of excellent humor and variety of characters, so if you liked Alaska and Katherines you're going to like Paper Towns -- it'is sort of the deep ponderings of the universe of Alaska combined with some of the more adventurous elements of Katherines, and when I finished it it was one of those books where I wasn't really left with this feeling that OMG THAT BOOK WAS REALLY GOOD or OMG THAT BOOK SUCKED SO BAD but just a feeling, you know? Like I couldn't immediately put into words how I felt about it, but it had a definite affect on me. Personally, I love books like that.
For all of you who don't have the book, I'm assuming you've seen John Green himself read the prologue online.
