Arthur tuned out from the TV and resumed drawing. It had been days since the news of his father’s unlikely survival in the blast and drawing seemed to be all he could do. No sobbing, no screaming, just drawing. Drawings of him and his father together.
He hated the sympathetic looks, the whispered guessing game and the suffocating attention from his guardians. To acknowledge what everyone believed would be to admit his father was never coming home and had broken his last promise. The promise of his return.

Okay homage was actually pretty hard to write for and at first I had the idea to go along with something to do with Greek gods but now that I've done this its been a job fitting it into 100 words -_- So now no one will know whether Uther died or not... (it was honestly turning into a story, until I remembered it was drabble.) And a note to say arthur is a child incase anyone was wondering.
