Its really kinda freaky, there have been several tragedies in the last 2 weeks to various people in the office, most of them freak accidents. 2 weeks ago the nephew of one agent was paralyzed when he was playing around, wrestling with a friend and the guy landed wrong on him and broke his neck. He is 18 and is now a quadrapalegic. Earlier this week another agent's 5 yr old. grand-nephew was killed in an ATV accident. Our sweet little agent from Manchester GB lost her beloved grandmother last night. And worst of all, this morning the really nice lady who helps cover the courier dept., and did when I was in there, got awful news. Her husband was at his company's retreat house with a bunch of co-workers and clients for several days of meetings. About 2:30a this morning one man woke up thinking it was daylight and soon realized it was the back porch on fire. They tried to clear the house and got everyone into the garage. They discovered someone was missing, so her husband went back in for the person, neither of them came out. A couple people and the wife of one of the co-workers came here to tell her in person.
Its all just so awful, and really surreal since its all happened in such a brief. :(
