Today, I give thanks for the magic of the natural world. It has always seemed to me that the more I learn about how natural systems work, the more amazing and breathtakingly awesome it is ... and it continues this way. It's not just that life evolved at all, which is enough in itself to blow one's mind, but that all these different life forms evolved together in ways that we still discovering day by day. The complex magic of nature is what gives me hope for the world in the grand scheme of things, and that gives me hope in the small scheme of things, too.
