Dear BC Law School,
I have a few questions for you. The first being what is the deal with your two waitlists? Why would you ever creat a "priority" waitlist and the standard run-of-the mill waitlist? I understand, as your letter stated, that I met all of the requirements to gain entry to your school, that is why I applied there in the first place. Actually if you want to be technical my GPA was significantly higher than your median GPA, and my LSAT was your median LSAT. Do you even understand what a median is? It means the middle, therefore there are individuals admitted to your school who have both below my GPA and below my LSAT score, yet they gained admittance and were not, like me, placed on the "priority' waitlist.
Furthermore, I do not like the idea of a tiered waitlist system. Do the individuals on the regular waitlist ever get in? Or are you just too much of a pussy to outright reject people? For me, rejection would be preferable to waiting from now until June 6 to see if I will be given a seat for the class of 2009, because at least I would know where I stand. Actually your letter states that I could get a call or a letter any day from now until June 6th so maybe my wait won't be that long.
Hopefully you will rethink your position.
Sincerly,
Cailin M. Campbell
