トーマの心臓 - Heart of Thomas

Dec 20, 2012 23:27

Okay, firstable: this is the first time I've read an actual manga. Lately I've been lacking the time and willing force to do any proper research and pick something to read.

And, welp...if only I hadn't stumbled across this Otaku USA on a departamental store I wouldn't even know wtf was that by now. I am glad I did though.

The magazine recommended it, well, in fact it stated it was a must-read so lol...I shall obbey the mag's commands as the good, simple and humble wannabe otaku I am.

So now you have me searching through mangafox to see if there was any scanlation I was fortunate enough to find it. Thanks Laugod.

What I wasn't told was that thing was actually a 70's shounen ai. I swear to you, I didn't even read the description on the otaku USA magazine, I just thought the drawing were cute, but didn't really bother in reading why that manga, touma no shinzou, was a must read.

You see, I am not really that bright when it comes to common sense. I never was. I don't really expect to be.

BUT THAT MANGA WAS SO FREAKING BEAUTFUL OMG IT TOOK ME TWO DAYS TO FINISH IT BUT IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND SPENT GLUED TO THE SCREEN BECAUSE OMG THAT WAS UTTER PERFECTION YOU ALL SHOULD READ IT BECAUSE OMF ALL THE SHOUNEN AI FEELS AND THE BEAUTIFUL MEANING AND THE FREUDIAN COSMOGONY (yes, you read right, freudianism)

the end isn't the one we expected
and that was basically the best thing
and the final message also was beautiful

it's a must read

トーマの心臓, personal
