Thirty years ago, in a past life, I spent 5 months driving around the US & Canada in a VW pop up van. My X and I traveled together better than we lived together. When we were traveling each day was an adventure and each day had a destination. We also did a long trip from Cairo to London in 1983, all by bus, train and boats. Those were the good days, or at least that's the way I remember them.
Now that the kids are out of school, I've been itching to hit the road. The Ork and I went to Istanbul in January. I'll be going to Wales and Glastonbury later this summer. But nothing beats a good old fashioned American road trip.
I've been trolling craigslist for the past few months, searching for the perfect road trip accessory, and now I think I've found it. Meet Thor, a 2004 T@B trailer. Colorado here we come.
