It's been a busy season. Since the beginning of the year...
Two weeks which included a trip to Istanbul just for fun, a trip to Scotland for fun & trade show and a trip to Dublin for trade show
8 weekends of the Sherwood Faire
1 North Texas Irish Festival
1 San Antonio Highland Games
1 St. Partick's Day Event at the store
2 trips to DC to deal with mom stuff
4 trips to Waxahatchie to deal with dad stuff
trip to Secaucus for another trade show
last week rather than go to the Houston Highland Game I went camping with my sweetie & friends. Days of skinny dipping and nights around the bonfire.
this past weekend I had another visit with dad and then went to socialize at the Scarb Faire.
There is a lot of work I need to do on my house, but I haven't had the time or energy, maybe things will slow down now that the weather is warming up.
Honestly I'm having great bloody time with my life. I'm enjoying who I am and I'm having fun doing the things I'm doing. I feel I should slow down and take it easy, but there is so much going on I want to participate in.
Last night the Ork and I went to see Shakespeare in the park, but I could have gone to fund raiser show at the Continental Club as well. I haven't seen a movie in months. I haven't been swimming in a creek yet this year.
The knees are starting to ache again. The arthritis is like a cattle prod to keep me moving forward. If I slow down the knees will turn to stone and I'll be trapped on the sofa watching tv for the rest of my life. Better to keep moving while I can.
