It would appear that things seem to be going well enough around here, which is very good. even if it is bad for business. That said, I've got an assignment for the lot of you. Now, as you may or may not know pirates in the muggle world are usually feared and likewise hated all because of what we've decided to do with the life that the good Lord gave us. That's beside the point, but it does tie into the assignment- your assignment is to either pick two things that interest you about piracy and explain why you find those two things so interesting. Or as an alternate to pick a section from a book (no dictionaries or anything like that, it'd be far too easy) and translate it into pirate speak. Before anyone pipes up with "But Captain, pirate speak isn't an official language in the wizarding world!", I'll point out that no, it isn't- but it is widely spoken in my line of work and it's different enough from the Queen's english to almost count. You will have until the end of this week to hand over your assignments, and anyone that skips out without havin' an actual and important reason will have house points docked. If ye need help figuring out what certian pirate words mean, for the love of the skull and bones, look smart and speak up about it. Oh, and don't attempt to use any sort of spells or potions that would do the work for ye, because it'd be very easy to tell.
