But, I don't want to get on the cart!
No, I am not yet dead...just really busy lately. I made it out to Arizona in December, and am now living in a nice house with my three roomies, working my butt off as a manager for EB Games (yep, I finally got my promotion), and trying to get everything ready to start back to school this fall. It's a bit too dry and brown out here for my taste, and I miss my friends back east TERRIBLY, but things are otherwise incredibly fabulous. I can't wait to see everyone at DragonCon in a couple months.
In other news, I found out a week or so ago that a friend of mine from FCHS actually lives a few miles away from me here in AZ. I dropped in to check my myspace recently, only to find a note from D.Wayne Monroe, who I was in band with forever ago. He apparently moved to Mesa last year. Wow, the world is just getting smaller and smaller.
Well, it's my day 'off', so I'd better get back to cleaning the house and stuff. Pretty much everyone who lives here works 40+ hours a week, so keeping a 2400 sqft house clean is nearly impossible. I've actually been really sick for the past week (from a spider bite, I have just found out), so the house is a nightmare at the moment. C'est la vie.
