He's crawling
Peter figured out how to crawl yesterday. He's been rocking back and forth and kicking his feet around for weeks now, but he was finally inspired to reach out and pull his body forward. He promptly began chewing a lamp cord and trying to eat a plastic bag. We need to do some babyproofing around here. He stands up all the time, too (with the help of furniture to balance). At this rate, he'll be walking by Thanksgiving. I'm very afraid.
