He was late, it was long, he stayed in the hospital for a week which made the next week, learning how to feed, a pain. But we're home now and settling into a routine. Maybe I'll post a birth story eventually.
He was born at home, but it's not a story that'll make you run to toss out the birth control. I had so little sleep the 4 nights before his birth that I looked forward to only waking every 2-3 hours.
We do sleep, just in short chunks. Naps are my friend.
Well, I wanted something classic, but not too high on the popularity charts. Peter was #136 for the past 2 years and has been dropping. It's also a nice way to make use of my maiden name, and Dan preferred having a saint's name.
Kenneth is the middle name of both my grandfathers, one of whom uses that instead of his first name. He's the most awesome guy around, so I wanted to honor him.
Hey, if you bring us dinner, you're free to come by whenever you want. Even without dinner, if you're willing to hold him if he's screaming, you're welcome.
The kiddo's healthy (and finally eating well, and therefore gaining an extra chin daily), and I'm still recuperating. But things are pretty good around here :) He has his nights and days straight, so I can't complain much about his sleeping habits. It wouldn't kill him to nap a little more.

Congratulations! I'm interested to hear the birth story if you ever get around to writing it.
Are you getting any sleep at all these days? ;)
