No one likes updating during the summer

This follow-up to question #90 is gigantic, so it's split up.

Follow-up question: Would you like to have a child much brighter and more attractive than yourself?
Yes. Attractive and smart people generally go farther in life.

What difficulties might result?
Well, the smarter kids are usually made fun of for enjoying learning, or sometimes they are bored in school and so perform poorly... but these problems aren't singular to just one child. Lots of people have to deal with children that don't learn in the same manner that teachers teach.

How much would it bother you to have an ugly, crippled, or stupid child?
It would bother me a little bit at times, but not in the same way that ugly, crippled, and stupid adults bother me. It would be my child, so I couldn't really complain. I guess it'd be harder at times, that's all.

To ensure that your baby was born bright, attractive, and healthy, would you use a safe medical procedure to genetically alter the developing embryo?
Yes, I think I would.

Would a baby designed in this way still feel like your child?
Less so, but yes.
