Happily working my behind off at the moment, rehearsing for the latest musical. An 18 month break from them seems to have refreshed my enjoyment of them, as I am having a ball. It does noticeably wear out my creative side for art & writing, though. Busy creating gestures, expressions & business, I guess.
Just finished Neil Gaiman's 1602 - superb. I read it as background research for the piece I want to finish on my character 'Brother Elias', set in the last days of the Restoration. Worried about the language sounding false &, of course, Gaiman pulls it off effortlessly. Just do it yer daft git.
