Week One!
From the beginning I knew I probably wouldn't be able to update as much as I would like. So here's my first week... some of them. I don't want to clutter anyone's friend's page, but I *am* doing the work - for my own benefit. Crit is always nice so I'm sharing these few.
What I've discovered so far:
Drawing an 8 month old is rough. She doesn't EVER sit still. (Unless she's sleeping - as you'll soon see. And she doesn't really sleep as long as I thought she did. So my plans to fix this are... to take a digital photo before starting and then begin. This way I hope to get more of a "finished" looking sketch, as well as continue to draw from life as much as possible. Also this will allow me to have more fun with the drawings. So those will be in week two. <3
This last one looks nothing like her, but was an attempt to get as much information down as possible before she woke up. Perhaps this challenge will also give me some speed in my rendering.
Also... I couldn't seem to embed the pictures from DA, do you have to have an upgraded account for this?
