my two cents. thicker than water

wow.  so here i was looking forward to this episode all week and i just have to say wow.

i think it rather rocked.

Given, it seemed a little bit short, as in it felt like--to me at least--that not as much happened as i thought would.  I was expecting them to delve into Trevor's problems a bit more, and see how he is really adjusting to being home but it seems like that is going to be more of a topic next week.

and oh my damn!  that evan connors (i think thats his name, the one taking over for joan) asshat!  if ever there was one.  pulling the plug like that on the broadcast...pamela shoulda hug him up by his toes and made him watch teletubbies for hours on end (as there is no worse hell i can figure at the moment).

and omg betty's gone!  was i the only one who just wanted to cry?  betty is maybe my third favorite character and so i personally am devestated that she is gone, and majorly hoping she'll beat the cancer and come back soon.

and OH!  cookies for denise!  i love that she's standing up for herself and her bike, and that she totally told Frank whats what the way she did.  although i think we all know well enogh that the way it went down is definitly gonna be spelling some t-r-o-u-b-l-e for the sherwoods.

and not to jump forward but....the previews for next week!

okay, so i like getty.  i like getty a lot.  he seems like a nice guy, a awesomely cool guy with a bike that i would sell my soul to own, buts thats a whole 'nother story.  that look that jeremy gave him in the previews did not look pretty and i dont think things between her and frank are going to get any better if he finds out about how good friends they are.  anybody think jeremy is gonna be spilling the beans to his dad, 'cause it kinda sorta looked that way to moi.  so i really hope getty isn't going to be stirring up the pot too much, cause i'd hate to not like him because he's a pretty decent character.

and is trevor and roxy's marriage on the rocks?  things weren't looking very good on that preview, but its good to see trevor not too perfect i think.  i like that trevor's gone from being that flat out innocent boy to having a bit of an edge.  im also figuring that its gonna be odd without betty because she was the only one that actually kind of seemed to get how he felt--guilty for actually ending a life and seeing it celebrated.

and on a last note, yay for jeremy coming back!

and one itty, bitty, last note.  claudia joy and this thing with emmaline's friend.  it looks like the need to mother someone is definitly kicking in and she's going to be offering her home to the girl when the mother is finally deployed, which is going to mean problems of a major sort at the holden residence.  im sure the girl will cause problems galore and i, personally, can't wait.

and in yet another shameless plug *whacks self with army wives dvds* the army wives fanfiction community is up and running at
armywivesfanfic so head on over and contribute, or read, and starting this week--weekly prompts, just in case anyone is interested.

peri out!
peace and love all.
