Going Back to Cali
I have finished 17 pages of reports on forced female sterilization in India. This is already after having done about 15 pages on it to begin with. May I never have to discuss the subject to anyone ever, ever again.
Tomorrow I leave for California. I will be going to Modesto and Torrance to visit family. Hopefully I can get a little sight-seeing in as well. Good luck to me on that.
I am excited to see my family. They haven't yet met Emily and haven't seen Isaac since he was 2 years old, so it will be nice. They are a little wacky, but then again so am i, so i have nothing to be afraid of.
I'm just hoping that this vacation turns out to be a vacation and not more of a stressor!
I know that I can at least enjoy the drive :)
My husband found out yesterday that they are going to have to put his boyhood dog to sleep. He is going to go home to visit and say his goodbyes next weekend. I feel so bad. I know how hard it is on him.
