(no subject)
well, long, long weekend. We've been planning to build a front porch for a long ass time, and we finally did. Thursday while i was at school, my uncle and dad started buliding the frame supports for the porch. Friday, we put up the rest of them putting 5 beems from one end to the other (24' 8"), over 40 legs holding it up, then we put down the deck board, (49 of em with 10 nails in each, do the math). Saturday, we put up the posts, 4 in front, 4 in the back, fancy lookin, and we started on the roof by putting up all the supports. Sunday, we put up the roof, i was up there, 8 sheets of plyboard(8ft long, 4 ft wide), then we had to roll out the roofing stuff, about 6 rolls of it, each on about 70 pounds. over we put about 1,500 nails in the roof. monday, we put up the railings, and did everything else we needed to do. got done around 2pm monday. after long tedious frame work. then we jsut gt the table and chairs and lamps etc for outside, (about $400). Over all, thsi project cost mayb $2,300, build in 4 days, with 4 people, and a hell of a lot of food. Well, we are all happy now to have front porch, now i can jump out my window and not fall 8 ft. :) well, now i gotta do 2 reports, not fun, but o well... this week we shouls put up the ladece work (criss-cross stuff that goes around the bottom) and we should be done. wee, ive had a busy week, my back is killin me, and i have the worst cold, but hey, it was worth it.
On another note, i saw 3 movies, i went saturday night to see Son of the Mask at about 7:30, the when i got out of that, my bro asked me if i wanted to see constantine, of coarse, so we drove to clinton to meet a few pll and went there, but were to late, so we went to see hitch (in clinton) on sunday night, our boss was supposed to take us out to eat for being a good store, but he forgot and we left, so we went to tinseltown with friends and snuck nito constantine, seems my bro was the only 1 old enough, he bough one to constaNTINE, and bennit and I bought one to hitch, the ticket dude was in the front, luckily, so we were able to sneak in and see constantine, kick ass!! now there are a few movies commin out i wanna see, toher than that, im good for now. I still gotta deposit my check, i can do that tomorrow. well thats about all i got to say for now, its a lot huh?, o well, you enjoyed it, or mayb not, but o well, ull live!
