A co-worker and I discussed this yesterday but...
Why is the world freaking out over an abstract idea? Money is not a solid. There is nothing backing the value of it anymore. It's a fucking concept.
Maybe this should be a time to realize that money, being the nothing that it is, should not be depended on for our well-being.
And even if the concept of money was a solid, there are so many more arguments I could come up with to not be worried about money.
We created this mess. Yes, certain individuals are more/the most responsible, but as a whole, we are responsible. In more ways than one.
I'm just pissed that I'm buying into the hype.
The hype is also what's making it worse.

(PS, I'm not stupid. I've taken an econ class. I know how the system works. But that's the problem, it's a system. And like every system, it's a failed/failing system.)
