After watching last nights redskins game, if you can even call it that, Ive decided to play monday morning qb, even though youd think theyd learn these things from last week, and too a lesser extent from their playoff performance.
1. Find a consistent free agent kicker, Novak perhaps, and sign him, and give John Hall his walking papers, he is an inconsistent kicker with bad range. The Redskins got him to with in his range while playing Minnesota and he still missed the kick, time to cut him, this shit has been going on too long with him.
2. Work on your CB, with Springs out someone needs to step up, Sean Taylor cannot play the whole secondary, besides you should know by now that officials are just looking for a reason to throw a flag on him.
3. And on that note, the penalties, what the hell, Joe Gibbs runs a disciplined team and yet these penatlies are becoming a nuisance and are costing them games. Start fining players who commit penalties that end up deciding a game.
4. The defense needs to shape up or ship, theres no sense in holding them on 1st and 2nd downs and then giving up a big play on third and long, especially a run play, this was one of the top defenses from last year, and with the acception of Arrington and Springs, youve got the same people and one of the best run stopping safeties in the league in Archuletta.
5. Give Brunell one week to get back in form, youve got three top draw WR in Moss, Lloyd and Randle El and youve got Cooley. Stop rushing and underthrowing, take your time and find the open man or be willing to adapt.
6. Start getting Campbell ready to play.
7. Pass protection....without Portis, the team will have to rely on their passing game. The Offensive line needs to keep the DE's from getting into the backfield
