last night's Tenley show at Baker's Streetcar was fun but kind of awkward. the "performance space" felt like someone's uncle's basement rec room in the most uncool way. there was a nice turn out for such an early time slot, but since the room lights were left on, people stood very far back from the band, making it feel as though this was a middle school dance where we were the boys and the crowd was the girls. at the next show I want to play piano.

on monday, I'm interviewing regina spektor and some dude from maroon 5.

i'm looking forward to california next week.
