Now I am admittedly very new to LJ.  I have recently (yesterday) been apprised of the troubles it has gone through in the last year.

Insane Journal has free accounts and responsive ownership. Greatest Journal has free accounts and pretty much the same TOS as Live Journal, san being owned by Putin pawns, but I have no idea who does own it.

Mind you, my migration has been planned for some time. When I realized I'd gone a month without posting anywhere, it seemed like the time to make it official.

And I apologize up front if you are offended, but when I first saw your user name I thought you were Auburn Athena, and I really thought that was a cool name. About a week and a half ago I realized it was Auburn Not Henna. If it's any consolation I do feel like an idiot about it!
