my hero
My father is my hero. He is a strong man. He is a loving, kind and sensitive man. He found out this year that he has prostate cancer. he kept it to himself for months. got surgery to remove the prostate then decided it was time to tell us. I understand he just wanted to protect us. He had to have 37 radiation treatments to prevent traveling of the cancer. He has an appointment on Wednesday to check and make sure he is cancer free. He has the most positive spirit. He looks so fragile to me. he has always been the strong silent type, now I think he just wants to live and love everyday to the fullest. I couldnt ask for a better man for a father. I only hope that everything will work out. He has had such a rough 18 months or so. Cancer, losing 3 brothers, one of his dogs, a nephew.........I couldnt love a person more than this man.
