dude. check it out. this is a blog.
i turn 23 on thursday. thats crazy dude. im getting old. were gonna have a bitchin party at the triple nickel. im sure youve all seen the awesome flier. but just incase im gonna post it at the end of this.
so ive been working at papa johns and the community center still, i didnt get that job with sony, which sucks a lot. ohwell. i need to find a job in portland that gives me good steady hours so i can move when this school quarter is over.
speaking of school i got my grades, two Bs and a B+. not great but definatly better than ive done in a looooooong time. since like middle school. i was really hoping to pull atleast one A though. this quarter it will be mine. im like... really trying now. and that is cool. im thinking i might switch my major. not that ive even declared one but still. so working with kids is fun and whatnot, but its also really stressful and i dont think that im cut out for it neccisarily. they say like half of all teachers quit within the first two years or something rediculous like that. i wanna switch to a communications major with maybe a minor in business. not that i wanna work in an office, but a business degree looks really good and helps you out in a huge variety of situations. say if i wanted to work at a label or something. word.
so im doing a band called GODDAMN!, im not sure if i mentioned that in the last blog. its pretty much the shit. we are crazy loud and heavy and fast. its like mixing botch, the fall of troy, refused, and fugazi. im having a blast playing with this band. and unlike ever we fall, i actually hang out with them when we arent practicing. we had a wicked sweet barbque last night and played mario kart and ping pong. i think that was the main problem with ewf, we never really connected as anything but people in a band together, so when we had to live together in difficult situations, there was no real friendship to keep us from fighting. with the exception of matt those guys were almost strangers to me. word. they are getting all huge as shit now, its kinda lame for me, but im doing ok. i miss touring a lot. i feel like im spinning my wheels right now. once school starts again next week i will feel more productive again.
kalii moved to ohio, and im jealous. not about ohio neccisarily but more that she is out having adventures in new places. i miss that feeling a lot. i cant wait until this band is ready to hit the road.
im listening to les savy fav. people dont listen to enough les savy fav.
ive been netflixing six feet under like crazy. that show is intense. im averaging 2 or 3 episodes a day. im on the fourth season, disc five right now. one season left and then its over. crazy.
