if i was playing sxsw again this year (like ever we fall is) i could see some of these bands:
headlights, aloha, owen, and you will know..., head automatica, talib kweli, secret machines, built to spill, crosstide, velvet teen, maritime, limbeck, mogwai, belle and sebastion, new pronographers, morresey, earliemart, cary brothers, steel train, the exit, minus the bear, detachment kit, rocky votolato, nada surf, mates of state, appleseed cast, the divorce, anberlin, emery, marah, tim fite, neko case, volcano!, the sword, we are wolves, rye coalition, spinto band, black heart procession, tilly and the wall, the elected, rogue wave, action action, snow patrol, pistolita, straylight run, circa survive, saves the day, jolie holland, hootenanny, okkerville river, magnolia electric company, david bazan, vaux, lady sovereign, moneen, radio 4, rhett miller, lyle lovett, the pretenders
this is just a short list. there are literally thousands of bands playing. crazy. SXSW is like mardi gras for bands. instead of flashing boobs they flash sweet riffs.
