I'd recommend to go with surface because I personally don't find significant difference between surface and air to USA unless it's during busy shipping season like x'mas.

I do give 10% discount when the total before shipping is $30 or more, so if you would like you could pick something that's $4 or more for the discount. ^_^ After all, your shipping is for up to 1000g. Let me know if you would like to pick anything else ^_^
